Civil Rights Protest Injury Lawsuit

Three years ago I interviewed at the Stritmatter firm with Karen Koehler. She asked me what practice areas I wanted to work in. I said civil rights… and also personal injury, of course. She said the firm had done civil rights work but not primarily. I started at the firm anyway knowing that the firm represented Charleena Lyles and her killing by SPD.

Three years later, almost to the date of my hire, our firm filed a massive 100+ page complaint on behalf of BLM protestors and their injuries at the hands of our city and state government. I am so so proud to be a part of this amazing team.
